BSB Conference Rooms (CBORD)
BSB conference rooms are reserved through Cbord and are card swipe access only. This will allow you to reserve online in advance or walk up to see if the room is available should you want to use it. Please note that there may be a brief lag time of 1 – 2 minutes when you walk up to the room and reserve before you swipe access activates. Rooms still fall under maximum capacity size, and we ask that you be considerate and not reserve a large room for a small group.
There are a total of six conference rooms in the BSB that have display TVs with Apple Air and HTMI ports for laptops to connect to the displays, and whiteboards. Food is allowed in the conference rooms. Work orders with Baylor Facility Services must be placed with Aramark for cleanup after a reservation that has food. The work order request must include the ending time and the instructions that clean up should occur at that time.
Below are guides on how to reserve a conference room followed by the conference rooms available, room capacity, and groups who have permissions to them and how many meeting times they can schedule at one time.
Note: Those departments not housed within the BSB are asked to email bsb@baylor.edu with the event name, date(s), time(s), and if known specific room they would like to request. The Director’s office will work to find an appropriate room to accommodate, if possible.
Directions on how to reserve a conference room through CBORD
To see room availability and reserve rooms follow the steps listed below:
- From a web browser (other than internet explorer) go to https://idcard.baylor.edu.
- Log in with your BearID and password.
- From the menu on the left, choose room reservation. If you have permissions in any of the conference rooms this tab will show for you.
- Rooms are reserved on 15-minute increments with the minimum length of 15 minutes and maximum length of 2 hours.
- The owner of the reservation can add up to 6 people to their reservation so that they will all have swipe access during the reserved time. The first person to swipe open the door will open the door for the duration of reservation.
- The door cannot be swiped open before the scheduled time of the reservation. If setup time is needed for the reservation, it is recommended that time is built into the reservation time.
