A Perspectives in Muon Tomography

Muon tomography is about imaging and exploring large or dense objects using cosmic ray muons. In recent years, a revival is taking place with many creative detector and image reconstruction solutions for unconventional applications in geology, archaeology, engineering, homeland security, and other fields. After a short introduction about the physics of muon tomography, I will discuss several diverse projects including our own undergraduate student-run muon tomography project at TTU.
